As I toddler I loved to work with my hands. I would make brown spheres like this and line them up on a window sill I could reach. I'm still at it, but these do smell much better being embryonic chocolate mint cookies. On the other hand, in days of old I had an always ready supply of raw material in my diaper!

The New Kittens

Their adoption names were Ying and Yang. Their true names appear to be Tigger and Zen. Tigger is the 'baby', though he is the largest at 3 pounds. He is very noisy when separated from us. He is hyper in the manner of his namesake. Yang is much quieter and resembles his mother who is an angora. He will try to sit in my lap even when I am doing my morning yoga. Tigger looks very much like the African wildcat from whom all cats are descended.

The Sound of Silence

The silence comes after this 3/8 inch shear bolt is torn apart. Interestingly you can hear it above all the machinery clatter and huge muffling hearing protectors. After that sound everything is turned off to begin the repair. Happened twice today.
