Mountain Climbing

I just figured out that I have climbed 3 14,000 foot mountains in Colorado. In 2001 I climbed Mt Harvard and Mt Columbia with Bill Lincoln and Bob Parker. In 2003 I climbed Mt Uncompahgre with my son Matt. In working all this out, I found Mt Emma at 13581 ft in southwestern CO. It would be fun to climb that with Emma and her mother. I will need to be in better shape than I am now and Emma need to do some growing before we can even think about that!

Lost Year

This has been a tough year. First 4 months were spent trying to train Marley, who was a poodle\Austrailian sheep dog. Too hard for a 75 year old me. Since May I have been caring for Patricia, who had to have a third left hip replacement. She is now making great progress recovering from that setback.

Banks Can Make Mistakes

I learned today that my bank turned a $3800 check into an $8300 payout. It was caught fairly quickly and the mistake will appear corrected on the account in 2 days. It is harder to notice these things since there is no paper trail these days. And each month I shall diligently check for such mistakes. OY!
