Charlie Brown TV Specials Aren't as Exciting as They Once Were!
Grandma and Ethan are watching the Charlie Brown special while Emma sleeps. Back in THE DAY this was a lot more exciting than Ethan thinks it is! Such is progress.
Ah, but the proliferation of media has rendered it no big deal. In "the day," if you missed it ... say, missing the first "Year without a Santa Clause" in '74--then you were waiting for '75. And this is before *BETA*, remember. The Eth-man will find his own empirical associations. Hell, we even used to wait for those silly peppermint patty commercials that showed up at Christmas (largely, I suspect, because of the Charlie Brown special) and Easter.
